In this special episode, we take a detour from the usual interview style episodes for an announcement I’m extremely excited to make. This is a personal story but an incredible part of my journey this year as we welcome our second pregnancy journey! As with every pregnancy and the entire journey of being a mother, there are lessons learned along the way. In the few months of this new part of my journey, I’ve already learned so much. This episode is all about five lessons I’ve learned from our pregnancy journey that can be applied to literally any part of life, no matter where you are or what you are doing with your family, business, or life in general. [16:22] - It’s not about downplaying your happiness or joy for someone else, but there are some factors to consider when sharing your news. You get to choose your timing. [18:15] - The next lesson is giving a lot of grace. [19:22] - During the first trimester, Elyse experienced difficulty with overcoming limiting beliefs. [20:58] - No matter what your mental health is like, there are times where things will be struggling. [22:16] - Elyse shares how she welcomed her emotions.
