This week, we have a very special guest! I had the opportunity to sit down with the one and only Read Connolly. Read is a husband, dog dad, fashion icon, touring musician, and the best Steel Guitar and Banjo picker this side of town! Currently, Read plays for two of the biggest and best country artists out there in Charles Wesley Godwin and Zach Bryan. When Read is not touring with these powerhouses, he is residing in Pittsburgh, rooting for the Pirates and eating Mad Mex. This week, we talk about his introduction to music, playing in bands growing up, struggling with self confidence, his transition into Steel Guitar & Banjo, working for the NHL, and how his life changed when he met Charles Wesley Godwin and Zach Bryan. This episode is incredible. His story is so motivational that I was overwhelmed with emotion during our conversation. Sometimes, you just have to walk through that door when it opens and I can't say "thank you" to Read enough for taking some time between touring the country to sit down and tell us his story.
