Larry has, for more than 30 years, been building real estate brokerages throughout New England.
He started in 1984 with Century 21 where he eventually Became Regional Director of New England, supervising 400 Century21 offices.
In 1999, Rideout joined Cendant Corporation (now Realogy), the parent company of Century21, ERA, Coldwell Banker and Sotheby’s International Realty where served as both Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President of Franchise Business Development
Finally in 2006, 16 years ago, Rideout purchased Gibson Domain and transitioned it into an affiliate of the Sotheby’s International Realty. Since then, they have grown from 55 associates and $250 million in annual sales volume to 400 associates and Over $3 billion in annual sales volume and are the #1 Boston-based real estate company in Massachusetts.
All of this success and when you meet Larry he is the among most humble, kind, gracious and big hearted people you coke ever meet. He admits he’s the guy wears his head on his sleeve and can get teary eyed
Talking to him it’s clear he has a gift for and clear understanding, after 30 years, how to lead. How to leas might be an underestimated much needed skill for real state agents. especially for team leaders in our crazy business as it seems to shift and grow rapidly that direction
Larry and I talked about his story, what’s he’s learned leading hundreds offices and real estate agents many of whom are ranked nationally.
