HORROR & SUPERHERO CHAOS! 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple Trailer Reaction & Marvel Zombies Reaction

Directed by Nia DaCosta (Candyman, The Marvels) and written by Alex Garland (Ex Machina, Annihilation, Civil War), this post-apocalyptic horror sequel premieres January 16, 2026—and we can’t wait. The film brings back Spike (Alfie Williams), the questing boy from the first film, and reveals the dangerous cult leader Sir Jimmy Crystal (Jack O’Connell)—a figure inspired by Jimmy Savile, bringing haunting commentary on memory and fame. Then we pivot to Marvel Zombies, Marvel Studios' first TV-MA animated miniseries streaming on Disney+ starting September 24, 2025. eveloped by Bryan Andrews and Zeb Wells, it’s set in the “What If... Zombies?!” universe—where heroes have turned into flesh-eating terrors. The star-studded voice cast includes Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova), David Harbour (Red Guardian), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Awkwafina (Katy), Hailee Steinfeld (Kate Bishop), Randall Park (Jimmy Woo), Dominique Thorne (Ironheart), Iman Vellani (Ms. Marvel), and Todd Williams (Blade Knight), alongside Hudson Thames (Spider-Man) and Wyatt Russell (John Walker). We’ll react to the gory trailer, the tone, and theorize on survivors and mayhem in the MCU’s darkest animated chapter yet.
