As our powerful 3-year series CROSS TO COMMISSION nears its end, Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell taught from Matthew 28:11–15, confronting the tension between truth revealed and truth concealed.
Those who stood as enemies became unlikely witnesses, seeing the empty tomb, yet choosing to engineer a false narrative. Where evidence should have led to humility and repentance, they suppressed the truth in pride.
We are called to surrender every wound and walk in the Spirit, allowing the Lord to heal what we cannot.Lonnell Williams brought a call to examine the heart through Romans 12:14–21, confronting the danger of offense and the evidence it produces.
In CROSS TO COMMISSION, Milton James opened up Matthew 28, calling us to behold the resurrected King. In His resurrection we see the victory of Christ over sin and death.
As we behold Him, gratitude fills our hearts for the King who conquered the grave.
Though Christ was laid in the grave, death could not hold the One who conquered it. In week 14 of CROSS TO COMMISSION, Arik Hayes taught from Matthew 27:57–66, pointing us to the victory secured through the grave.
Because our King entered the grave and rose in triumph, all who belong to Him will not perish but live forever.
In week 13 of CROSS TO COMMISSION, Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell taught from Matthew 27:45–56, revealing the darkness of judgment poured out on Christ as He absorbed the full weight of our sin and satisfied the wrath of God.
The veil was torn, access to the Father was granted, and the Lamb finished the work.
In week 12 of our final series in Matthew, CROSS TO COMMISSION, Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell taught from Matthew 27:32–44, pressing upon us that we were born under sin and powerless to escape the wrath of God.Love, obedience, and submission kept Jesus fixed on the cross for us.Use this link to watch a clip from the Passion of The Christ : https://2819resources.my.canva.site/p...
In week 11 of CROSS TO COMMISSION, Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell taught from Matthew 27:27–31, confronting us with Christ’s obedience under suffering and the glory revealed through submission to the Father. This message calls every disciple to repentance, reverence, and the humility of bowing before Jesus, the King of Kings.
In this piercing standalone message, Arik Hayes confronts the difference between being around faith and being changed by faith. Drawing from James 2, he reminds us that genuine biblical faith is never passive. It produces obedience, good works, and responds to the Gospel with action.
