This week, I sit down with Dan Rugh of Commonwealth Press. Commonwealth Press is a AFL/CIO Trade Union Screen Printing Shop that has been working to provide quality printing and design services to the City of Pittsburgh for over 20 years. - Starting out in a 6ft x 6ft area in the basement of their first home in the heart of Southside, Dan talks about how him and his wife Shannon expanded their business into one of the most recognized screen print shops and design firms in the city. - From creating his first “screen print” at the age of 12, to working in a big name book publishing factory, to expanding their business from the basement to a 20,000sqft warehouse—this weeks episode is proof how far a little hard work can take you.
