After reading some articles this week on people who went through and overcame incredible obstacles, I learned a lot I didn't know about Honest Abe, I didn't know the depression he carried, I didn't know as a wrestler he won 300 Matches, I didn't know he lost 3 of his 4 sons. 

He used all of these insanely difficult circumstances to push him to be better and the rest is history they say.. 

Today is the Final episode of this 4 part series on the "4 agreements" Written by Don Miguel Ruiz. 

This is the agreement that makes all of the others possible. When the agreements prior may seem to hard or even impossible, todays agreement is the glue that holds it all together for all of us.

It's an easy read and a great philosophy to add to your arsenal of self betterment and a deeper understanding of ourselves.

I've chatted about this in the past but this week, Diving deeper into the Stoic thought of "Amor Fati" or "The Love of Fate" to find the opportunity in times and circumstances beyond our control.

Small steps into this with separating your life into boxes of things you can control and things you cant and changing your life. Remove the stress, remove the bullshit and enjoy this time to better yourself.

Last night our city here in Nashville experienced a Tragic tornado destroying lives, Property and shaking our city to the core. Watching Nashville rise up to run out and help their neighbors and anyone else that they could, The change and shift in attitudes and discussions around the city inspired me to bring a lesson perspective to it on my podcast today. 

Being indifferent to things that make no difference. These storms, in our lives whether it be Tragic tornados or things inside your mind are all survivable, they are all teaching moments for how we can improve ourselves and our mindset to live within the storm.
