Have you ever felt spiritually dry. Like you are crying out to God and are hearing nothing. LIke you don’t really feel anything at all. You are doing all teh right things by going to church or having your regular Jesus time but nothing seems to work. You are losing passion for the things of God because you just feel so dry and stagnant? Well today we are going to talk about a few ways to overcome that!  I’ll be giving you some ideas to help you with some scriptures to encourage so that you can reignite your passion for Jesus and the plans that He has for you friend!  If you are ready for that, let’s jump in!

Quote on the google- Passionate people have an ever-increasing desire to obey Scripture. They want to obey not because it’s a command but because they love Jesus. They love his commands and want to honor him.

How to keep your passion for Jesus?

Change your thinking- fuel your spiritual body as you would your physical body. 

1. Fall in love with Him- this take time and intentionality on your part. Spending time with Him and getting to know him through His word, prayer and worship. 
2. Admit where you are… it’s ok to be in a dry place. There are mountains, valleys, deserts and oasis’....lots of different seasons and we just need to keep plugging away! 
   1. Is. 44:3-4- For I will pour out water to quench your thirst and to irrigate your parched fields. And i will pour out my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing on your children. They will thrive like watered grass, like willows on a riverbank. 
3. Remember who you are and where God has brought you from- 

You are a daughter of the King. You have access to God’s power and authority through Jesus. You are called, chosen, purposed, loved, forgiven…and much more! 

Romans 8:28: "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose"

He has good plans for you friend!

Romans 12:11-12- Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 

Ps 57:1-2- I look to you for protection. I will hide beneath the shadow of your wings until the danger passes by. I cry out to God most High to God who will fulfill His purpose for me.
