The body of a beloved community leader is found in the marsh and no one can find the three suspects. What is found is a community center basement full of stockpiled military equipment, years of embezzled non-profit funds, angry letters from law enforcement demanding the mayor do something about one of their own, and retired cops coming out of the woodwork to demand that conspiracy theories are confirmed. It's Illinois and in addition to marshes, there are bogs. There are also too many sources to cite.
