Tim attended a Special Victims Unit Investigation Course I co-managed back in 2012 at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. He's a retired Colonel from the JAG Corp of the US Army National Guard, specializing in investigating and prosecuting sexual assault cases. In that episode, we discussed how the trauma-informed approach to interviewing survivors helped Tim gather more information than he thought possible, and we emphasized the importance of being trauma-informed to avoid re-traumatizing victims during investigations.
