Welcome to our new series, "In the Paint", where emerging official John McNeal explores the inner workings of how Crown Refs was built. John is a 9-year official and former active duty Marine who is looking to take his knowledge further by learning how to create content. John is a multi-sport official and currently works at Mississippi State University where he has a unique opportunity to attack the officials shortage within the intramural sports world. John shares his worries about not having a presence and Paul works to dig deeper on how to be more confident & optimistic.

We talk about growing a community and what it takes to start and maintain digital content in the ever-growing social media world. This series is a great mix of brand building and referee knowledge. Enjoy and remember to serve the game.
