To atone for the coterie’s general ineptitude, the Prince called Everett to demand a “big win” in the next two days or else Everett would be punished severely, Doris discovered that the Right Hand had plans yet to be enacted and that the Left Hand of Lilith was still active nearby, Evangeline’s composure finally broke when the sheriff revealed that he had raised the stakes and invited the Prince to see a “huge win” in the next three days, and now she and Val are on their way to a club to get Evangeline drunk.
