Chris McCurdy is a pharmaceutical scientist and pharmacist whose research focuses on the design, synthesis and development of drugs to treat pain and drug abuse. His latest research investigates a naturally occurring molecule that may regulate an enzyme which helps produce the powerful psychedelic compound dimethyltryptamine, or DMT, in the body.
