Evangeline realized they could use the recent deaths of several clan leaders to turn the rest against the Prince, Val wanted to take out the Prince with the Shaft of Belated Dissolution, but Doris was insistent that Lucius Balefire be destroyed as a priority, and Everett conspired with Theobald to fill the Family Protection Building’s sprinkler system with silver nitrate and lure the Prince there to his doom.
