I’ve ruined holidays because of the picture I built up in my mind. I’ve stressed myself out as a host. I’ve gotten dysregulated by dynamics I didn’t expect. And over the years God has really taught me how to enter the day differently—with freedom, intentionality, and a heart that is focused on love over perfection.
