Claire’s got the Parkinson’s Foundation community grant on her mind with the latest application cycle coming up.  In the episode we discuss how grants can be helpful and why you may want to consider them. We discuss our experience with applying for grants and how we’ve used them even in for-profit businesses.

We also discuss nonprofit businesses and if it would be something for you.  We’ll talk about this and have an opportunity for you to learn more this year!  We were able to donate to several nonprofits this year that are run by our members and are grateful to be able to do that.

Anti-racist action: In our efforts to create a DEI plan we reached out inside our Building Allyship membership group and found someone who is on the DEI committee at her work looking to incorporate more of this at her location.  We’d love to have a brainstorm group from others of you out there who want to improve your DEI efforts at work too! Let us know if that’s something you’d be interested in.
