Valerie Miller survived her first night of being hunted by her father. She fled into town and begged for sanctuary at her grandparents’ house, only to be rejected and driven back. But that night was just the first of the new normal, and with no one to rely on, Valerie realized she would have to dedicate her time to learning more about the world outside her home and she prepared for her escape. Eventually she lured her father into a trap and set out on her own.
