If you guessed over a decade, you’d be right, which is insane. Unlike other government numbers, the federal minimum wage is not adjusted based on inflation and so we’ve been sitting at the same number since 2009. So on today’s episode, I'm talking about the history of the federal minimum wage and what States across the country are doing to counteract that low federal number.
