What if the key to unlocking the mysteries of salvation lies within the pages of Saint John Paul II's reflections on the Book of Acts?  Today's podcast was dually inspired, first by a recently published book, in 2019, based on newly discovered reflections by Saint John Paul II on the famous passage in the book of Acts where the apostle Paul speaks to the skeptical Greeks about the 'unknown God.'   Secondly, as fate would have it, by a text I received from a young woman who had been sexually abused, just as I was about to  write down my reflections of John Pauls book.

Per the book, Teachings for an Unbelieving World, each brief teaching contained within is a gem taking us ever deeper into the mind of St. John Paul and the mystery of salvation.

Today I will also tackle St. Paul's exhortation in Philippians 2:12, urging us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling, and Ephesians 2 which illuminates how Christ bridges the gap between us and God, and us and our fellow man.

Does the prospect of a world void of grace chillingly resonate with you? It's time we examine the severe implications of not knowing God and the weighty responsibility of living out the Gospel. Drawing wisdom from 1 Corinthians 1:22-25, we uncover the profound truth that God's foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and His weakness stronger than human strength. Let us inspire you to embrace these teachings, arming yourself with the shield of faith, to navigate the tides of life with grace, courage and conviction.
