With three nights to find Cross before Amy and Vincent do, Val drove to Calgary and booked a room at the Blue Rose Hotel, unaware of its significance. She awoke to find herself confined, was interrogated by Cross, and learned that Amy and Vincent were the two most dangerous Anarchs in Canada. To avoid Camarilla justice, Val would have to kill them and deny any involvement with them, so she and Cross set out to face them. But how can Val be the backup when she can’t even willingly pull the trigger on Amy?
