Something to say? TEXT US, for GODS sake!
Get ready to lift us back up where we belong Creeps cause this week we are “Failing Down” (Original airdate October 11th, 2000. Written by Tom Kapinos and directed by Sandy Smolan). Pacey continues to teeter on the pedestal we hoisted him onto while Joey hobnobs with the rich and depraved, Jen gets dumped via intermediary, and Andie is a soothing voice of reason.
Quick note: due to some higher-than-we-expected shipping costs (because of Covid but also because shipping is expensive) we are sorry to say that we had to limit the giveaway entries to the USA at the last minute. We apologize to our many international listeners, including the original winner, we are learning and growing in real time! We hope that next time we do a giveaway, it can be a truly international one. Because of this, we will have to select a new giveaway winner from our local entries, which we discuss in the episode.
Let us soothe you on Instagram (@dawsonscreeps) and twitter (@dawsons_creeps). Our antiracism doc is linked on insta and our Spotify playlist Dawson’s Creeps - Do You Want to Dance Tomorrow can really set the mood for some boat pizza. Till next time, not your teacher, we’re NOT your guidance counselor, but definitely your very good audio friends, signing off!
The Ol’ Creek Link Roundup
Gabby somewhat ironically referred to Capeside as a food desert but this is a very real problem and there are interesting arguments around the best terminology to use to describe it. The Guardian article Food apartheid: the root of the problem with America's groceries has some good information on both the issue itself and the language!
