The energy of a fresh start

I totally get that the New Year is just another day on the calendar and isn't really some magical phenomenon.

But... you have to admit that there's something about starting fresh that gives us so much energy and motivation. Many people take time off around the holidays, and with all the messages of new beginnings around us, it's like we all get into this fresh motivation. The first of the first... it has quite a ring to it. And that energy makes a difference to me.

In our Heart-Centred Business Planning system and program, I see the difference in people’s energy at the start of the year compared to later. There's a BIG difference between the energy of our Quarter 1 planning, compared to our Quarter 4 planning.

So, while we could dismiss the New Year hype, there's real power in using that burst of fresh energy strategically.
