2)    Halocho says to have a haircut in honour of Rosh haShono. Also, to visit the cemetery. What if I have time on the day for only one, which should I bring forward?[2]

3)    We wish to distribute sachets of honey for Rosh haShono. The line to tear open the sachets goes through writing. May these be opened on Yomtov?[3]

4)    I followed a chumra three times. Does that count as a vow? If yes; does Hatoras Nedorim on Erev Rosh haShono serve to absolve such a vow?[4]

5)    Does a husband’s absolution count for his wife’s vows too?[5]

6)    On Erev Yom Kipur a Yohrzeit candle is lit in memory of deceased parents. Do husband and wife need separate candles for their respective parents?[6]

7)    We avoid eating sour and bitter foods on Rosh haShono. A) Does this apply until Hoshano Rabbo? B) Is mayonnaise in the same category?[7]

8)    Please explain the procedure of Poreis Mapoh. Also, whether it is okay lechatchila?[8]
