Welcome to Surge’s Faith, Work, and Rest podcast. Our goal is to help God’s people discern their vocations and re-imagine their occupations for the good of their neighbors and the glory of God.
In this episode, we listen to Jim Mullins talk with Jack DeBartolo about how humans are formed by the built environment, the importance of honest materials, and why “place” matters to God. Jack has a deep well of wisdom that accompanies his excellent design. People from all kinds of occupations will benefit greatly from Jack’s intentional and integrated approach to his work.
Jack DeBartolo AIA is principal and design leader of Debartolo Architects, graduated from The University of Arizona College of Architecture and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
