I'm old enough to have been through many hype cycles in tech and data. The only thing I've learned is hype cycles usually come to an end when there's a pullback in investment and a few events happen where some high profile companies get exposed for being bullsh*t artists.

Given the latest bullsh*t exposed in this latest AI hype cycle (Devin, Humane, etc), I sense we're soon going to have a reset. And this is great, because REAL practitioners and doers in the AI space will have a better opportunity to do their work without the circus of carnival barkers.

Long term, I'm bullish on AI. I'm just not bullish on bullsh*t.
