As an international student, you’ll need to take a few extra steps when applying to universities in the United States.

The first step is to make sure you understand the admissions process.

You’ll need to submit transcripts, and test results from your home country, as well as anything else required by the schools you’re interested in.

You will probably also be required to submit an English proficiency exam such as IELTS or TOEFL (make sure you have calculated your IELTS score correctly).
