For episode number fifty two, my good friend and former colleague Mark Johnson sat in for the first half. He joined the usual gang of Myles Hughes, Ryan McQuade, Mitchell Beaupre (for the back half), and Steve Prusakowski. The focus today is obviously on film festivals, namely Mark's report from the Telluride Film Festival, as well as mine from the Toronto International Film Festival. Telluride and TIFF crossed over with our takes on movies like Belfast, The Power of the Dog, and Spencer, while I also spoke a bit about Dune.
