Hoy reflexionamos sobre la belleza y la importancia de construir una comunidad fuerte dentro de la Iglesia. Nuestro camino de fe no está hecho para recorrerlo solos. Dios nos pone en comunidad para apoyarnos, animarnos y orar los unos por los otros. Ya sea en línea o en persona, esta familia de oración es un reflejo de la Iglesia, creciendo juntos en el amor y en la fe.

A lo largo de esta novena, muchos de ustedes han compartido cómo nuestra Madre Santísima ha intercedido en sus vidas—trayendo paz, sanación y una fe renovada. Today, we reflect on the beauty and importance of building a strong Church community. Our faith journey isn’t meant to be walked alone—God places us in community to support, uplift, and pray for one another. Whether online or in person, our prayer family is a reflection of the Church, growing together in love and faith.

Throughout this novena, many of you have shared how the Blessed Mother has interceded in your lives—bringing peace, healing, and renewed faith. But we know there are still so many stories we haven’t heard yet, and we want to hear them. Your words can inspire others and remind us all of how God is moving through this prayer.

Hola familia, bienvenidos al Día 51 de nuestra Novena del Rosario de 54 días. Soy su host, Maritza Méndez.  Muchas gracias por estar aqui con nosotros, y una cálida bienvenida a todos los que se unen por primera vez.

Hoy reflexionamos sobre el tema Comprometidos con la Verdad. Y quiero compartir algo personal sobre el compromiso.

Empecé este podcast hace casi cinco años, durante la pandemia, porque quería mantenerme fiel a la oración. Con el tiempo, muchas cosas cambiaron—nuevo trabajo, mudanzas, momentos de alegría y también de lucha—pero algo que no ha cambiado es mi compromiso con Dios y con este podcast.

Antes de comenzar esta temporada, tuve una conversación muy honesta con Dios. Le dije que no sabía si podía seguir. Pero esa misma semana, Él me mostró que sí debía continuar. Todo empezó a fluir. Se abrieron puertas y pude regresar a Los Ángeles, estar cerca de mi familia y tener más tiempo para el podcast.

Dios siempre sabe lo que es mejor para nosotros. A veces solo tenemos que confiar, hacer nuestra parte y dejar que Él guíe el camino.

Hoy te invito a reflexionar: ¿Con qué estoy comprometido(a)? ¿Está mi relación con Dios en el centro de mi vida?

Hello family, and welcome to Day 51 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena. I'm your host Maritza Mendez. Thank you so much for joining us today and a very warm welcome to anyone who is joining for the first time.

Today’s theme is Commitment to Truth—and I want to take a moment to reflect on what it means to truly stay committed, especially in our walk with God.

I started this podcast nearly five years ago during the pandemic. I wanted to keep myself accountable to prayer, and honestly, it became a lifeline. Over the years, so much has changed—new jobs, moves, seasons of joy and seasons of struggle—but one thing I’ve stayed fully committed to is my relationship with God and this podcast.

Just before this season began, I had a very honest conversation with God. I told Him I wasn’t sure if I had the bandwidth to keep going. But by that same week, He made it clear—I was meant to continue. Doors opened, and opportunities aligned so I could return to L.A., be closer to family and friends, and still make time for this mission.

It reminded me that when we feel lost or unsure, God already knows what’s ahead. Our job is to trust, to show up, and to stay committed.

So today, I invite you to ask yourself: What am I committed to? Is my relationship with God at the center?

Let’s continue to walk together in faith.

Hello, family, and welcome to Day 50 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena. I'm your host Maritza Mendez. Thank you so much for joining us today and a very warm welcome to anyone who is joining for the first time.

As we enter these final days of the novena, our hearts are filled with both gratitude and sorrow. We continue to mourn the passing of Pope Francis, praying for the repose of his soul. His life and leadership were a gift to the Church, and his final Easter message will remain in our hearts as a reminder of hope, mercy, and Resurrection.

These last few days have felt bittersweet. I’m so grateful to be praying with you. Your presence, your faith, and your prayer intentions mean so much. Truly, I couldn’t do this without you.

And I also couldn’t do this without the help of two very special people. I want to thank Luisa, who helps from Florida with editing and putting together each episode, and Lilly, who joins us from Mexico City. She schedules and publishes each episode, posts the reels and shorts on social media, and puts together the YouTube videos you see every day.

We do face challenges—some technical, others personal—but by the grace of God, we’ve been able to publish daily throughout the season. I humbly ask that you keep all three of us in your prayers.

Hola familia, y bienvenidos al día 49 de nuestra Novena del Rosario de 54 días.  Soy su host, Maritza Méndez.  Muchas gracias por estar aqui con nosotros.

Hoy, nuestros corazones están tristes mientras honramos la vida y el legado del Papa Francisco, quien falleció ayer, 21 de abril. Fue un pastor que nos guió con humildad, misericordia y valentía; una voz para los pobres, para la paz y para la protección de toda vida.

Su último mensaje de Pascua, hace apenas unos días, nos recordó mantenernos firmes en la esperanza de la Resurrección, ser instrumentos de paz y confiar en que Cristo está vivo y camina con nosotros. Incluso en sus últimos días, nos seguía señalando a Jesús.

Hoy recordamos su profundo amor por el Rosario, su devoción a la Virgen María y su constante llamado a vivir con alegría, en oración y compromiso. Nos enseñó que la santidad es para todos, que la misericordia de Dios no tiene fin, y que estamos llamados a cuidar no solo los unos de los otros, sino también de nuestro hogar común.

Así que hoy, oremos un Rosario en acción de gracias por la vida y el servicio del Papa Francisco a la Iglesia. Que llevemos sus enseñanzas en el corazón y sigamos caminando con amor y  humildad como el nos enseñó

Hello family, and welcome to Day 49 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena.  I'm your host Maritza Mendez. Thank you for joining us today.

Today, our hearts are heavy as we honor the life and legacy of Pope Francis, who passed away yesterday, April 21. He was a shepherd who led us with humility, mercy, and courage—a voice for the poor, for peace, and for the protection of all life.

His final Easter message just days ago reminded us to hold fast to the hope of the Resurrection, to be instruments of peace, and to trust that Christ is alive and walking with us. Even in his final days, he pointed us to Jesus.

Today we remember his deep love for the Rosary, his devotion to Our Lady, and his constant encouragement for us to be people of joy, prayer, and action. He taught us that holiness is for everyone, that God’s mercy is endless, and that we are called to care not only for each other, but also for our common home.

So let us lift up a Rosary today in thanksgiving for Pope Francis’ life and service to the Church. May we carry his teachings in our hearts and continue to walk the path of love and humility he modeled so well.

Today, on day 49, we are praying the Joyful Mysteries in Thanksgiving.

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, we ask for your intercession as we pray for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis. May we honor his legacy by living with faith, compassion, and trust in Christ’s Resurrection.

We pray for unity in our families, strength in our faith, wisdom in discernment,  and the right use of technology to deepen our human connections. We pray for the intentions of our family here on the podcast, intentions received by email, Instagram and YouTube.
