Hola Familia,
Bienvenidos de nuevo al día 12 de nuestra Novena del Rosario de 54 Días. Soy su Host, Maritza Mendez,.Gracias por estar aqui para rezar con nosotros en el podcast. Para los que se unen por primera vez, gracias y bienvenidos a esta familia de oración.

Antes de comenzar nuestro Rosario, me gustaría reflexionar sobre la Eucaristía, la fuente de nuestra fe católica. La Eucaristía no es solo un símbolo; es la presencia real de Jesucristo—Su Cuerpo, Sangre, Alma y Divinidad—dado a nosotros como alimento espiritual. A través de la Eucaristía, entramos en una profunda comunión con Cristo, lo cual fortalece y sostiene nuestra fe.
Es esencial recordar que la Eucaristía está reservada para los católicos bautizados en estado de gracia. Esto significa recibir el Sacramento de la Reconciliación si somos conscientes de algún pecado grave antes de acercarnos al altar. Esta práctica sagrada nos ayuda a unirnos más plenamente con Cristo en la Eucaristía.

La perseverancia en nuestra vida espiritual puede ser un desafío. Enfrentamos pruebas y momentos de duda, pero la Eucaristía nos proporciona la gracia y la fuerza para continuar en fe. Cada vez que recibimos la Comunión, Cristo nos da el poder para superar los obstáculos y mantenernos en el camino.
Mientras oramos hoy, los invito a reflexionar en: ¿Cómo puedo dejar que la Eucaristía sea mi fuente de fuerza y perseverancia? ¿Cómo puedo acoger la gracia que Cristo me ofrece a través de este sacramento?

Pidamos a nuestra Santísima Madre que interceda por nosotros, para que siempre nos acerquemos más a su Hijo a través del don de la Eucaristía.

Welcome back to day 12 of our 54-day Rosary Novena. I'm your host, Maritza Mendez, and I’m so happy that you are here to pray with all of us on the podcast. A warm welcome to everyone who is joining us for the first time. 

Before we begin our rosary, I’d like to reflect on the Eucharist, the source and summit of our Catholic faith. The Eucharist is not just a symbol; it is the real presence of Jesus Christ—His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity—given to us as spiritual nourishment. Through the Eucharist, we enter into a deep communion with Christ, which strengthens and sustains our faith.
It’s essential to remember that the Eucharist is reserved for baptized Catholics in a state of grace. This means receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation if we are conscious of any grave sin before approaching the altar. This sacred practice helps us unite more fully with Christ in the Eucharist.

Perseverance in our spiritual lives can be challenging. We face trials and moments of doubt, but the Eucharist provides the grace and strength to continue in our aith. Every time we receive Communion, Christ empowers us to overcome obstacles and stay the course in our faith.
As we pray today, I invite you to reflect: How can I let the Eucharist be my source of strength and perseverance? How can I embrace the grace Christ offers me through this sacrament?

Let us ask our Blessed Mother to intercede for us, that we may always draw closer to her Son through the gift of the Eucharist.

Welcome back to day 11 of our 54 Days Rosary Novena. I'm your host, Maritza Mendez, and I’m very happy that you are here to pray the rosary with all of us in the podcast. For those of you who are joining for the first time, welcome to this beautiful family of prayer.

Before we begin our rosary prayer today, I’d like to take a moment to ask for your prayers, for our team here at  54 Days of Roses. As you may know, it takes a lot of effort and coordination to bring you each episode to life, and I am super blessed to work with an incredible group of people who make it all possible.

I am going to tell you a little bit about our team. First, let me introduce you to Vito Vasquez, our talented music producer based in California. Vito creates the beautiful background music that accompanies our prayers, adding a serene and spiritual atmosphere to each episode.

Then there’s Lilly, who has been with us since Season 1. Lilly lives in Mexico City and wears multiple hats. She’s responsible for uploading episodes, designing our posts for social media, putting the videos for YouTube together, and making sure our website runs smoothly. Her dedication to 54 Days of Roses is unbelievable, and because of her everything just runs smoothly.

Finally, we have Luisa, our audio engineer, she lives in Florida and she is responsible for editing each episode in English and Spanish. So as we continue with this season, I humbly ask you to keep Vito, Lilly, Luisa, and the entire 54 Days of Roses team in your prayers. Please pray that we all stay healthy and strong, so we can continue publishing each episode with ease, bringing the Rosary and its blessings to you every day.

Antes de comenzar nuestro Rosario de hoy, quiero abordar un tema importante que es central en nuestra fe: el Sacramento de la Confesión, también conocido como Reconciliación. Este sacramento es uno de los regalos más hermosos que la Iglesia nos ofrece, un camino para experimentar la infinita misericordia y amor de Dios.

Explorando el Sacramento de la Confesión
La confesión es un medio poderoso por el cual nosotros, como católicos, podemos reconciliarnos con Dios, encontrar la paz y renovar nuestro compromiso de vivir según Su voluntad. Es un momento de reflexión, arrepentimiento y de recibir el perdón de Dios por nuestros pecados. Para muchos, puede ser una experiencia intimidante, pero también es una oportunidad para un profundo crecimiento espiritual y sanación.

Aunque el Sacramento de la Confesión es específicamente para los católicos bautizados que necesitan reconciliarse con Dios, los no católicos siempre son bienvenidos a buscar guía espiritual de un sacerdote. Muchos sacerdotes están más que dispuestos a escuchar, ofrecer consejo y orar con ustedes, incluso si el sacramento formal no es conferido. Es importante recordar que la misericordia de Dios no tiene límites, y Su amor está disponible para todos, sin importar dónde se encuentren en su camino de fe.

Before we begin our rosary today, I want to dive into an important topic that’s central to our faith: the Sacrament of Confession, also known as Reconciliation. This sacrament is one of the most beautiful gifts that the Church offers us, a pathway to experiencing God’s boundless mercy and love.

Exploring the Sacrament of Confession
Confession is a powerful means through which we, as Catholics, can reconcile with God, find peace, and renew our commitment to live according to His will. It’s a time of reflection, repentance, and receiving God’s forgiveness for our sins. it’s  also an opportunity for profound spiritual growth and healing.

While the Sacrament of Confession is specifically for baptized Catholics who are in need of reconciliation with God, non-Catholics are always welcome to seek spiritual guidance from a priest. Many priests are more than willing to listen, offer counsel. God's mercy is not limited, and His love is available to everyone, regardless of where they are on their faith

Hoy quiero compartir un poco sobre el programa de RICA, que significa Rito de Iniciación Cristiana para Adultos. Este es un programa maravilloso para aquellos que están interesados en aprender más sobre la fe católica y posiblemente convertirse en miembros de la Iglesia. 

El programa de RICA ofrece una introducción completa a las creencias, prácticas y tradiciones del catolicismo. Es un hermoso proceso de conversión y profundización de la fe, guiado por catequistas y apoyado por la comunidad parroquial. Si tú o alguien que conoces está interesado en explorar la fe católica, te animo a que investigues el programa de RICA en tu parroquia local.

Today, I want to share a little about the RCIA program, which stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. It is a wonderful program for those who are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith and possibly becoming members of the Church. The RCIA program provides a comprehensive introduction to the beliefs, practices, and traditions of Catholicism. It's a beautiful process of conversion of faith, and is guided by catechists and supported by the parish community. If you or someone you know is interested in exploring the Catholic faith, I encourage you to look into your local parish's RCIA program. It's a journey filled with grace, learning, and spiritual growth.

Day 8 - Luminous Mysteries in Petition
Let's get started. Today, on day 8, we're praying the luminous mysteries in petition.

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, be with us in our prayers as we seek the grace of peace, patience, and perseverance. We humbly request your intercession, lifting up the special intentions that reside within our hearts.

Blessed Mother, on this feast day of Saint Stephen of Hungary, patron saint of those who spread the faith, we pray for all who are striving to lead others to Christ and for leaders who seek to govern with justice and faith.
