Oramos especialmente por:  Amy, Anita, Ann, Anne, Angelina, Asher, Bui, Carina, Chamylle, Chiara, Chinwe, Christy, Crisanthony, Daniel, David, Donna, Flora, Herminia, Jaime, Jabu, Joe, Joshlynne, Judith, Kerry, Kristin, Kurt, Luis, Lori, Magaly, Maria, Maria Gabriela, Matthew, Michael, Patrick, Sam, Sarah, Sheila, Sylvie, Tara, Terrion, Thuy, Tilly, Tommy y Tu. Oramos por las almas de  Sierra, Carter, Marc, Nkosinathi, Sihle, Sithembiso, Mbuso, Martin, Maggie y Herminia. Y oramos por Cora y Ching.

    Comencemos.

    Con amor,
    Maritza Mendez

  • S13 Day 39 - Glorious Mysteries In Thanksgiving

Hello family, and welcome to day 39 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena. I’m your host, Maritza Mendez, thank you so much for being here with us today and a very warm welcome to anyone joining for the first time.

Before we begin, I want to say thank you for the beautiful reviews you’ve left. We received five new reviews on Apple Podcasts this season, and if you left a review on another platform, please know how much I appreciate you. Your words truly help this podcast reach more people who need prayer.

I would also love to know what podcast platform you are using to pray along with us. Send me an email at [email protected] and let me know.

This part of our novena is prayed in thanksgiving, trusting that God is already answering our intentions; healing for those in recovery, peace in the world, and the intentions of every listener praying with us.

Today we reflect on something beautiful today and that is how God’s hand has been guiding our story all along, even in moments we didn’t realize it.

Sometimes we only notice His work when we look back; the doors that closed to protect us, the unexpected help that arrived at the right time, the people who showed up when we needed support, the strength we found on days we thought we couldn’t go on.

Recovery, healing, and spiritual growth rarely happen in a straight line. But God is always weaving something good, something healing, something holy, even from our struggles.

So today, give thanks for the parts of your story that didn’t make sense at the time, because now you can see how God carried you through them.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, thank You for guiding my story, even in the moments I didn’t understand.”

If you are keeping up with your journal, ask yourself where can I now see God’s hand in my past, and how does that help me trust Him more today?

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, today we lift up every person who is learning to see God's grace in their story.

We pray especially for: Amy, Anita, Ann, Anne, Angelina, Asher, Bui, Carina,  Chamylle, Chiara, Chinwe, Christy, Crisanthony, Daniel, David, Donna, Flora, Herminia, Jaime, Jabu, Joe, Joshlynne, Judith, Kerry, Kristin, Kurt, Luis, Lori, Magaly,  Maria, Maria Gabriela, Matthew, Michael, Patrick,  Sam, Sarah, Sheila, Sylvie, Tara, Terrion, Thuy, Tilly, Tommy, Tu. We pray for the souls of Sierra, Carter, Marc, Nkosinathi, Sihle, Sithembiso, Mbuso, Martin, Maggie,  We pray for Herminia, Cora, and Ching.

    Family, let's get started.

    With love,
    Maritza Mendez.

    Comencemos.

    Maritza Mendez

  • S13 Day 38 - Sorrowful Mysteries In Thanksgiving

Hello family, and welcome to Day 38 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena. I’m your host, Maritza Mendez, and I’m grateful you’re here today.

Before we begin, I want to say thank you to everyone who has paid it forward:

    • those who shared the podcast with a friend
    • those who left a rating or review
    • those who subscribed to our YouTube channel
    • and those who made a donation to help keep this ministry going

You make it possible for someone else to find hope right when they need it.

If you’d like us to pray for you by name, please submit your intentions on our website at 54daysofroses.com under “Submit Prayer Request.” We have about 2,000 people praying with us every day, so don’t miss the opportunity to have this family lift your intentions in prayer.

Today, we reflect on gratitude for each sober day.

Recovery isn’t measured only in big moments. It’s measured in the small, consistent choices: choosing honesty, choosing peace, choosing prayer, choosing to start fresh when yesterday was hard.

Every day away from addiction is a day closer to freedom. Each day invites gratitude: “Thank you, God, for today.” “Thank you for clarity.” “Thank you for another chance to live with purpose.”

Gratitude doesn’t ignore struggle, it shines light on progress. And when we thank God for the grace of today, we build strength for tomorrow.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, thank You for every sober day, for progress, for healing, and for the grace that carries us one step at a time.”

If you are keeping up with your journal, ask yourself: where have I seen God’s grace in my recovery today?

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, today we thank God for every person choosing sobriety, healing, and courage.

We pray especially for all those who have paid it forward in any way: by sharing this podcast, by leaving a rating or review, by subscribing on YouTube, and by making a donation. Strengthen them, bless them, and continue the good work You have begun in them.

    Family, let's get started.

    With love,
    Maritza Mendez.

Oramos especialmente por: Anne, Ariana, Ashley, Baby Ray, Carmen, Cass, Christy, Christina, Clara, Cruzita, Daniel, Deacon, Diana, Diana Raquel, Donna, Edna, Ella, Francisco, Gary, Gary M., Gorge, Grace, Gracen, Gregory, Guaman, Harry, Jojo, John, Julia, Jewel, Kathleen, Kelsey, Kitty, Lara, Lily, Loralee, Lynn, Manuel, Maria C., Marlene, Martine, Michael, Monica, Olivia, Ray, Rehannah, Rose, Soraia, Yvens.

    Maritza Mendez

  • S13 Day 37 - Joyful Mysteries in Thanksgiving

Hello family, and welcome to day 37 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena. I’m your host, Maritza Mendez, and I’m grateful you’re here today.

Before we begin, I want to remind you: it is not too late to pray for you. If you would like us to pray for you by name, please submit your intentions on our website at 54daysofroses.com, under the section“Submit your Prayer Request”.

We continue the second part of our novena, praying in thanksgiving as if God is already answering our intentions: peace in the world, freedom from addictions, healing for those in recovery, and the intentions of everyone listening today.

Today we reflect on detachment, not running away from life, but letting go of what keeps us from God. Spiritual detachment means noticing when we’re trying to control every outcome, when we’re holding on too tightly to fear, to expectations, to people, to habits, or to the idea that things must go our way.

Maturity in the spiritual life happens when we can say: “Lord, I want what You want, even if it looks different than what I expected.”

Detachment is not cold or distant, it actually brings peace. We trust God more. We surrender worry more quickly. We allow Him to lead.

If there’s something heavy on your heart today, let it go, even for a moment, and say: “Jesus, I trust You with this.”

If you're keeping up with your journal, ask yourself what is one thing I keep trying to control, and can I give it to God today?

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, today we thank God for hearts learning to trust, surrender, and detach from fear, control, and worry.

We especially pray for: Anne, Ariana, Ashley, Baby Ray, Carmen, Cass, Cora, Clara, Christina, Christy, Clara, Cruzita, Daniel, Deacon, Diana, Diana Raquel, Donna, Edna, Ella, Francisco, Gary M., Gorge, Gracen, Grace, Gregory, Guaman, Harry, Jojo, Jewel, Julia, Kathleen, Kelsey, Kitty, Lara, Lily, Loralee, Lynn, Manuel, Marlene, Martine, Mary, Michael, Monica, Olivia, Ray, Rehannah, Rose, Soraia, Yvens. We pray for the Garces Delgado family, and the soul of Azucena.

Blessed Mother, teach us to detach from what hurts us and hold on to what brings us closer to Jesus.

    With love,
    Maritza Mendez.

    Maritza Mendez

  • S13 Day 36 - Luminous Mysteries in Thanksgiving

Hello family, and welcome to day 36 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena. I’m your host, Maritza Mendez, and I’m so happy you’re here today.

Before we begin, I want to ask you something from the heart. Our next season will begin during Lent, from February 18th to April 2nd, and I would love to know:

What should our main intention be for next season?

If you feel called, please send me an email at [email protected] and let me know what intention you would like us to pray for together as a family.

Today, we reflect on finding joy in simplicity.

So much of our world tells us that we need more to be happy, more things, more success, more noise, more activity.

But God often meets us in the simple moments: A quiet cup of coffee in the morning, a walk outside, a smile from a stranger, a deep breath after a long day, a single Hail Mary whispered from the heart.

Joy is not always found in big events. Many times, it’s hidden in the small, ordinary moments where we slow down enough to notice God’s presence.

Simplicity helps clear the clutter inside our hearts. It makes space for gratitude. It reminds us that God is enough, and with Him, we already have what we truly need.

Today, let our prayer be: “Lord, help me find joy in the simple things, and see Your presence in my ordinary day.”

If you are keeping up with your journal, ask yourself: what is one simple moment, habit, or blessing in my day where I can slow down and notice God’s love more clearly?

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, today we thank God for the simple graces that carry us through each day, for breath, for hope, for faith, for another chance to love.

We pray in thanksgiving and in trust, believing that God is already at work in our lives.

Today we especially pray for all the intentions we have received this season through Instagram, email, and YouTube, the intentions of everyone listening right now, those praying for healing, freedom, peace, and deeper faith, all families represented in this novena, and every hidden intention that has not been spoken out loud but is known completely by God.

Blessed Mother, hold each intention close to your Immaculate Heart and bring it with love to Jesus.

    With love,
    Maritza Mendez.

    • Venmo: @Novena54DaysofRoses
    • PayPal y Zelle: [email protected]

    Maritza Mendez

  • S13 Day 35 - Glorious Mysteries In Thanksgiving

Hello family, and welcome to day 35 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena. I’m your host, Maritza Mendez, and I’m thankful you’re here today.

Before we begin, I want to share something from my heart.

We are so thankful for all of our donors who have paid it forward through our website, Patreon, PayPal, and Zelle. As of today, we have raised a little over $2,000, and this money is used to pay our editor, music licensing, and all the subscriptions that keep the podcast running year-round.

As I mentioned yesterday, it costs about $6,000 to produce each season, since we publish 108 episodes in just 54 days, in both English and Spanish. Right now, we have 28 monthly donors, and our goal is to reach 54 monthly donors, 26 more people, who would help keep the podcast going all year long.

I also want you to know this: Many listeners can’t donate right now, and that is absolutely okay. Sharing the podcast, leaving a rating or review, or inviting someone to pray with you is just as powerful as making a donation.

This podcast belongs to all of us, and it would be beautiful to continue growing our family, season after season.

And I also want to share something incredible. Since we started in August of 2020, together we have prayed over 1 million rosaries as a family. That is proof that prayer multiplies, and God uses every “yes,” one listener at a time.

If you feel called to support, you can give through:

    • Our website: 54daysofroses.com
    • Venmo: @Novena54DaysofRoses
    • PayPal & Zelle: [email protected]

Family, thank you for helping us keep this ministry alive.

This part of our novena is prayed in thanksgiving, believing that God is already answering our intentions; peace in the world, freedom from addictions, healing for those in recovery, and the intentions of everyone listening.

Today, we reflect on living with purpose after addiction.

Recovery is not just about what you leave behind, it’s about what you step into. When someone is freed from addiction, they often ask, “Now what?” “What is my life supposed to look like now?” That question is holy, because God never just removes something, He replaces it with meaning, service, and growth.

Purpose can look simple: helping one person a day, being present with your family, starting a new routine, praying for someone still struggling, showing kindness to a stranger, building something slowly, day by day.  Living with purpose means offering your story to God and saying, “Use it however You want.”

Your healing becomes someone else’s hope. Your progress becomes someone else’s courage. Your “yes” becomes someone else’s beginning.

Today our prayer is: “Lord, thank You for giving me a purpose after healing.”

If you are keeping up with your journal, ask yourself what is one way I can use my healing to help someone else today?

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, today we pray in thanksgiving for every person who has experienced recovery, growth, and new beginnings.

We pray for Angela, Barbara, Carla, Carlos, Clara, Daniel, Dani, Fanar, Gary, Goldy, Joe, Lannie, Laura Maria, Michaela, Oluwafunmilayo, Rosalia, Susana.

Blessed Mother, pray for us, guide us, and help us live with purpose, gratitude, and grace.

Family, thank you for praying with us today. Let’s continue with the Rosary.

    With love,
    Maritza Mendez.
