In March 2022, Matt Krug was diagnosed with stage 3c colon cancer. After having colon resection surgery, Matt researched the effectiveness of the recommended adjuvant chemotherapy and determined it was not a viable option. Instead, he chose a holistic approach to healing. Unfortunately, A CT scan revealed a recurrence of cancer a year later in April 2023. Despite the dismal news, Matt examined his holistic protocol and realized he had not fully understood his cancer, as well as missing the key spiritual and emotional sides of healing. In light of this new awareness, Matt has taken new measures to address the mind, body, and spirit in his healing journey. Since his cancer recurrence, Matt has become a new group leader at HealingStrong in Greenville, South Carolina and looks forward to helping others in their healing journeys.
