Lisa Locascio is the author of the debut novel OPEN ME (Grove Atlantic). Her work has appeared in The Believer, Tin House, n+1, Bookforum, and many other magazines. She is the editor of the anthology "Golden State 2017: Best New Writing from California," co-publisher of Joyland and editor of its West section, as well as of the ekphrastic collaboration magazine 7x7LA. She is Executive Director of the Mendocino Coast Writers Conference. She lives in California.
