There’s a lot of talk in the world about words like “lean” and “healthy” and whether or not those descriptors promote body shaming. And while that seems a little ridiculous at first, as health is something that can be objectively measured, it’s an important topic to be discussed. By now you know that shame is one of the least motivating factors for lasting change, and as health and fitness professionals, we want to be able to coach our clients to their best, healthiest selves and stay that way. Is that possible to do without body shaming?
