In today’s episode, hear how Suzy Griswold, founder of HealingStrong, overcame  thyroid cancer and how it motivated her to start the non-profit, HealingStrong. In 2009, Suzy was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Three months after surgery and radiation treatment, Suzy learned that the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. It was then that she decided to pursue an alternative healing modality known as  the Gerson Therapy. Having successfully entered cancer remission eighteen months later, with an enduring faith in God, and after making other lifestyle changes, Suzy was led to start HealingStrong, a non-profit, faith-based organization that helps many other cancer patients overcome their illness.
