Hi, nihao!
I'm Mabel who is an online Chinese Tutor.
Welcome to my Simple Stories in Chinese podcast, a podcast where I narrate short/simple stories with a mix of Chinese and English. These are great for beginners and can help intermediate Chinese students improve too.
I created this podcast because, after being asked by my students for podcasts to help them learn Chinese, I realized that there aren't all that many. So, I created my own.
Below is a running list of all the podcast episodes. I hope you enjoy it!
Today it's a classic that kids love! I used to be an Au pair and every kid I took care all loved this story. Let's get ready to dive into the whimsical world of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. - 饥饿的毛毛虫! 🐛
First, let's meet the star of the show - the Caterpillar - 毛毛虫 (máo máo chóng) in Chinese! 🐛 direct translation is 'furry furry worm' How cute! Isn’t it very visual since they do have hair?
In this podcast, we will learn a lot of verbs and also some useful structures to boost your Chinese speaking.
You can Check out the video on my YouTube.
And the transcript you can find it on my website: chinesewithmabel.com
