In this episode I host Gertrude Katula, Gertrude is a professional teacher in Uganda. She grew up in a family of 16 kids, when younger Gertrude thought she was going to become a doctor, but life changed for her and she ended up as a teacher. She says it was an accident that she ended up there but today Gertrude says she is very passionate about influencing the outcomes of education. On the Podcast Gertrude and I discuss the education system in Uganda, she is now a creator of reading materials to help kids in Uganda improve their reading as well as build a physical school.
