Melisa Nielsen shares how to decide what grade to place your child in when you are a Waldorf Homeschooling family.

Grade placement is much different in Waldorf than public school standards. It is also very intentional to have the child in the right grade.

When we choose the correct Waldorf grade placement the child is ready to take in the Waldorf curriculum. If we start to early the child is not ready for the stories and lessons being presented to them.

The goal is for the child to be the age of that grade for the majority of the homeschool year.
