62: The Brown Supremacy

Listen Later

NonCensored is  a weekly round up of Harriet Langley-Swindon's very popular, very real daily radio show, completely non-Censored (but with all of the rubbish edited out).

Harriet and Producer Martin are still at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, but this week they are rejoined by Eshaan Akbar - and after a few weeks off, we couldn't resist playing you clips of all his appearances on the daily radio show - which, as you all know, is a real thing - from the last week.

First up, we get his "Hot & Spicy" take on the obvious winner of the Republican Presidential primary debate, and why he will take over the world; then, it's time for Is It Woke?, out long-running segment that obviously has a lot of admirers at the Daily Mail - cough "WokeWatch" cough - as Harriet asks, "Comedy awards - are they woke?"; and finally, there was time for an ApologyWatch, where Eshaan, Martin and Harriet discussed the apology issued by the head of the Spanish FA for kissing one of the players, and find a reasonable solution to the whole thing.

Tickets to see us live! We are recording a live episode at King's Place as part of the London Podcast Festival on Thursday the 7th September at 7.30pm. Tickets are £12.50 and can be bought at https://www.kingsplace.co.uk/whats-on/london-podcast-festival/. We are delighted to be able to announce that both Suella Braverman and Sir Keir Starmer will be joining us, as will the Reverend Gerry Berrie, from the Very Free Church of England, whose views on modern morality always get the wokies in a tizzy!

If you have a question for the live show Suella, Keir or Gerry - or Harriet or Martin  - then send them in to [email protected] and we'll give our two favourite questions two free tickets each to the live show on the 7th. This decision will be made on Wednesday 30th September, so get your questions in before then.
