  • Clive Palmer on Federal Court ruling
    Clive Palmer has told 6PR Breakfast that "I am not backing down and this is not a set back" following the Federal Court ruling yesterday. The Federal Court has said that the hard borders are the best way at stopping Covid-19 from entering WA. The case has now been sent to the High Court.
    Clive told us that he was continuing on with the High Court challenge to test the law. He also told us that he is today commencing proceedings in the High Court against the Premier and Attorney General for contempt of the High Court.
    Clive also responded to being portrayed as a cane toad, chicken and Dr Evil in "The West Australian Newspaper."

    On Wednesday, Enda told us that Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has been found guilty of aggravated assault, resisting arrest and bribery attempts in Greece and has been given a suspended prison sentence of 21 months. Enda also gave us an update on the fight for justice by the family of a 19 year old man that was killed after a US Diplomats wife allegedly hit him with her car after driving on the wrong side of the road.

  • Dr Omar Korshid - Corona Virus reinfection
    According to preliminary research a 33 year old man in Hong Kong has had Covid 19 twice this year. This is the first documented case of someone getting the Virus twice.
    It was found that the man’s second case of COVID-19 occurred 142 days after the first. The man remained asymptomatic with his second episode.
    Dr Omar Korshid, President of the Australian Medical Association says one of the many big questions about Covid-19 is "once you have had it, how long is it before you lose that immunity?"

    Birthday boy Josh Kennedy joined us on 6PR Breakfast just ahead of the West Coast Eagles flying out to Queensland today.
    Josh told us that while it is hard leaving his family he feels that he is a lot more prepared this time and is hopeful that they may be able to come back and play the last game here and also finals.
    Speaking after their 8th straight win on Sunday, Josh says "at the end of the day it was good to win but you move on pretty quick because we have a game this Thursday".
    Celebrating his 33rd birthday today Josh told us that he received a Bird Calendar and some Pringles.

    Carnarvons iconic OCT Dish that played a part in the first Moon landing may be set for demolition because of an expected remediation bill of $1.7 milllion over 5 years which the Shire of Carnarvon says could be beyond their financial capacity.
    The dish sits outside the Carnarvon Space and Technology Museum which attracts thousands of visitors each year.
    Phil Youd, Chairman of the Museum told 6PR Breakfast “a little town like Carnarvon needs every little bit of positivity it can get.”
