    Blake said that he isn’t optimistic at being called up for the game against GWS this Saturday saying  “I’m not sure that I would come in for the game but am probably more likely for the shorter turn around with the 4 day break next week.”
    Blake also said that he was looking forward to the Dockers stint in the Cairns hub saying that he was excited to get out of Perth and enjoy the hot weather in Cairns.

  • Rita Saffioti on new iconic bridge
    Plans for a bridge stretching hundreds of metres across the Swan River will be unveiled by the State Government today.  The bridge will be constructed west of the Causeway, connecting Victoria Park with the CBD via Heirisson Island.
    The pedestrian and cycle bridge is estimated to cost about $50 million.  Work is underway on the final design with tenders due to be released next year.
    Rita Saffioti, State Minister for Transport says “it’s an exciting new project, a challenging new project which is much overdue and will be so well used.”

  • Clive Palmer on Federal Court ruling
    Clive Palmer has told 6PR Breakfast that "I am not backing down and this is not a set back" following the Federal Court ruling yesterday. The Federal Court has said that the hard borders are the best way at stopping Covid-19 from entering WA. The case has now been sent to the High Court.
    Clive told us that he was continuing on with the High Court challenge to test the law. He also told us that he is today commencing proceedings in the High Court against the Premier and Attorney General for contempt of the High Court.
    Clive also responded to being portrayed as a cane toad, chicken and Dr Evil in "The West Australian Newspaper."
