Maia tells Grant the story of the Unabomber (Ted Kaczynski) through the lens of the authorities trying to solve the case. We're not condoning the Unabomber ... but ... he maybe had some okay ideas in his manifesto (which by the way starts with "The Industrial Revolution and its Consequences"). 

Since we recorded this episode, the Unabomber died in a federal prison medical center in Butner, N.C. at the age of 81.
