In light of the current events that have been happening all around the world right now with Black Lives Matter, we wanted to share some self reflections, with our raw and honest truths. Like many of you, we’ve been listening, educating ourselves, and reflecting about the deeply rooted injustices towards our black brothers and sisters.

We are learning how to do our part to be strong allies and to fight for anti-racism; from checking our own privileges, to sharing how we’ve talked to our parents about the subject matter, to really diving in to what the model minority myth means for us, we are educating ourselves on how we can better bridge that gap from seeing each other as separate to fighting together for one truth. Equality for all.
