In 2016 Sheri Papini disappeared one afternoon after going on a run, leaving behind only her cell phone in the grass. When her husband Keith Papini returned home from work that day to find only his wife's cellphone on the ground with bits of her blonde hair tangled into her headphones, he immediately called 911. Police and volunteers searched far and wide for Sherri while the entire nation prayed for her safe return. However from day one this case was surrounded by controversy and theories.
