Adele is a clinical optometrist working in independent practice in Auckland, New Zealand, with special interests in Dry Eye & Ocular Surface Disease, Myopia Management, Contact Lenses and Ocular Therapeutics. She is the National Clinical Manager for Matthews Eyecare; she holds positions on the CPD Accreditation Committee for the New Zealand Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Board and the Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal, is the President of the Cornea & Contact Lens Society (NZ), and an Honorary Teaching Fellow at the University of Auckland School of Optometry & Vision Science. She graduated from the University of Auckland in 2003 and completed her Master of Science in 2020. She has been a conference speaker for optometrists & dispensing opticians in Australia and New Zealand, a writer in optometric publications, and a pre-market evaluator of contact lenses, contact lens care solutions and dry eye care products for various companies.
