Sometimes the experiences that are the most jarring prove to be the best thing that could have ever happened to you. They give you insight into who you truly are and what your real calling is for yourself and others.
You are never too late to take care of yourself. You are never too old to achieve the goals you’ve always wanted to achieve. Don’t wait another day to start.
In times when you’re dealing with difficult emotions, “practice the pause.” Think with clarity exactly who you want to be for yourself and how you want to show up in the world. This will help you fight against any urge to start eating or falling into another unhealthy vice to cope with how you’re feeling. Remember - “You’re not a dog. You don’t deserve a treat.” You deserve to take care of yourself, and not with food.
Falling down is part of living a human life. Every time you do, use it as a lesson for the next time you’re in the same situation.
Be curious over your own judgement of yourself. Always remain mindful of what you say to yourself.
