The Duke Blue Devils were able to surge in the second half to defeat the Texas Longhorns in the Dick Vitale Invitational, and we recap the first game of the season on Episode 765.

Donald and Jason begin with the headlines from a game that was a tale of two halves in many respects. We then get into the good stuff, from the team defense to Cam Boozer’s second half to Isaiah Evans hitting a bushel of 3s to keep Duke moving forward. We love some of the things we saw and the fight we showed in once again overcoming a slower start.

We then get into the things to improve, and there were plenty from the first official game of the season. The team will certainly look to get better as they dive head on into the season, with Western Carolina the next test this weekend.
