In 2014, a college student living in the trendy Isla Vista community of Santa Barbara was struggling to fit in. Throughout his education, he just wanted to be popular. But that never happened. He wrote pages and pages in his journal about the day he would seek retribution. That tragic day was May 23, 2014.
