77: Understanding Hormones with Lauren Curtain, Women's Health and Fertility Practitioner

Listen Later

Today’s guest is Lauren Curtain, a women’s health and fertility Chinese medicine practitioner who uses both Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture to assist clients with understanding their cycles, hormones and so much more.

The conversation with lauren today teaches us about the lifecycle of hormones from adolescence through to pregnancy and everything in between. We explore the impact that periods, fertility, stress and our eating habits have on hormones, as well as how you can be more aware of conversations around contraception and too touch on inflammation in the body and skin.

After many requests for an episode like this, I was thrilled to be able to connect with Lauren and record for your learning. You’ll definately need a notepad and pen for this one, because there is so much to takeaway, and you may even learn something about your own body and hormones that you didn’t even realise.
