In this episode, we discuss one of the consequences of alcohol misuse - alcohol induced cardiomyopathy. We'll consider a broad differential to dilated cardiomyopathies, and review the history, physical exam and work-up for dilated cardiomyopathy. We'll then discuss the treatment and management of alcohol induced cardiomyopathy as well as the prognosis of individuals with this diagnosis.
