Howard Casner is a screenwriter and script consultant who has lived in Los Angeles since 2001. He has published two books of short stories, The Starving Artists and Other Stories and The Five Corporations and One True Religion (these are sci-fi, fantasy and horror short stories). He has also published the second edition of his screenwriting book, More Rantings and Ravings of a Screenplay Reader. All are available on Amazon. His podcast Pop Art, in which a guest chooses a movie from popular culture and he will then choose a movie from the art/indie/foreign/classic side of cinema with a connection to it, can be found on Apple, Anchor, Spotify and other streaming platforms.

Anne Arreguin is an Actor, Writer, Producer, and lover of desserts, wine, and coffee. After dancing professionally and traveling to 20 different countries with Feld Entertainment, she made the move to film and web content. She has directed and produced quirky comedies and even the web series “The Subaru Sagas,” which made a successful run in the festivals circuit. She has always had a love for dark fairy tales growing up and holds films like The Secret of NIMH, Labyrinth, and especially The Dark Crystal close to her heart.

Jeff York has been a professional writer and illustrator for three decades, working in advertising, journalism, and show business. He's an optioned screenwriter and has helped Netflix producers develop a number of series. Jeff's also a SAG/AFTRA member, a certified film critic on RottenTomatoes.com, has his own movie site TheEstablishingShot.org that’s read in 27 countries, and is a member of the Chicago Indie Critics.

Kevin Smokler (@weegee) is a writer, documentary filmmaker and event host with a focus on pop culture. He’s the author of the book Brat Pack America: A Love Letter to 80s Teen Movies (2016) and the essay collection Practical Classics: 50 Reasons to Reread 50 Books you Haven’t Touched Since High School (2013). In 2020, he co-directed the documentary film Vinyl Nation on the contemporary renaissance of vinyl records in America, which was an official selection of 59 film festivals and an 8-time Best Documentary winner. He’s appeared in conversation onstage with comedians, playwrights, authors, magazine publishers, architects, musicians and filmmakers for the last 2 decades and lives in San Francisco.

Michelle Henniges Lang is a self-proclaimed '80s movie buff and one of the biggest Dirty Dancing fans ever to roam the earth. Originally from Chicago, she now lives in Southern California. Her love for '80s movies started in childhood when she knew that there could never be a better-made movie than one by John Hughes, John Carpenter, John Landis, or Robert Zemeckis… just to name a few! Michelle graduated with a BA in Film and Television (Directing), and her love for this era of film has persisted, as she now is a Special Education Teacher who enjoys watching and sharing many of these great movies with her students.

Caroline Dobbe was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. Fell in love with movies and television from a young age. Grew up watching Star Wars, Star Trek (both film and television), and pretty much every John Hughes movie.
